In fact, if Go-Whangarei achieves a majority in council, you simply will not believe the changes that will eventuate and the benefits that will flow into your community and into Northland.

Our goal is to enable our communities and Whangarei as a whole, to achieve a much better standard of living and one that is comparable to other regions of the same size. We would like to see better facilities, more community involvement and generally simply a more vibrant and enjoyable place.

Which means that people come first, not buildings or monetary gains for Council pockets.

Having lived and worked in different places throughout NZ and the World including Australia, UK, USA, Tahiti and Fiji, I have seen what prudent monetary management can do for communities and also the harm that poor monetary management can do in the hands of inefficient bureaucrats.

Positive change that will bring growth and prosperity to both Bream Bay and Whangarei has simply got to be good.

If you are not sure on who to vote for then ask yourself these questions:

In the last three years have any of these things happened in your Community.
Did you get a cleaner and tidier community with free Rural Rubbish Stations?
Did you receive better Community Funding?
Were your rates frozen?
Did your council really listen to you?

If not, then vote for all the Go-Whangarei candidates and encourage others to do likewise because as a team in council we promise you that these changes and more will be made.

How can all this happen?

By prudent monetary management, not starting what we can’t afford, targeting innovative economic growth, reducing and streamlining procedures, postponing projects that we can’t afford and don’t need right now and by working as a united team.
