Go Whangarei

As a passionate sales and marketing professional, I love Northland, and so often we let Northland down by the negative attitudes of those in other areas towards us.

I’ve been working in sales and marketing for well over 10 years, dealing with all forms of media. As the media world changed so did the standards, from paper to digital, from written to visual, and as those changes happened we needed to meet those changes if we wanted to get the clients message out.

My achievements in life are the result of my willingness to work hard to achieve my goals and to persevere when presented with a challenging situation. I am a self-motivated individual who believes in community and culture.

For the past 3 years I have been running my own media business (Fat Kat Media), and I have been getting great results for my clients, helping them to double and sometimes treble their sales within businesses. We also run a small farm, as we love the Northland life style.

Whangarei and Northland will grow within the next 10 years, however as a district we need to be growing too. The influx of new people means that the demand on our builders, planners, engineers and community will be greater, and Whangarei needs to be ready for that growth.

As a valued Go-Whangarei team member, I believe in what Go-Whangarei wants to achieve to make Whangarei more vibrant. As I am a determined individual who takes pride in having a strong customer service focus and I’m hands on, and believe in structured well planned systems and strategies to enable the public to have better access to the Council.

Whangarei we deserve a united team on Council, with credible, passionate and focused people to encourage strong vibrant economic growth to achieve community wide prosperity, remove the red tape, reduce council spending, streamline procedures and provide better support and funding to communities.

It’s time to have your say and vote Go-Whangarei.
